Brick Safe at Cemetery Voted. That the President is hereby authorized to construct a Brick Safe in connection with the Superintendent's office in Cambridge, substantially in accordance with the plans presented to the Board.

. Meeting.

The Monthly Meeting of the Board of Trustees was held, as notified, on Wednesday, , at 2:30 o'clock P.M.

Present _ The President and Messrs. Choate, Browne, Rice, Whitney, Wolcott, Clapp and Jones.

The records of the last meeting were read and approved.

Trustees elected . The President announced that, at the Annual Meeting of the Proprietors held , Messrs. Israel M. Spelman and Jerome Jones were chosen Trustees for the term of Six Years ending 1892.

Election of President Mr. Wolcott having been appointed by the President a committee to collect, sort and count the ballots for Officers for the ensuing year, announced that the whole number of ballots

cast for President was six, all of which were for Israel M. Spelman and he was declared elected.

Treasurer Whole number for Treasurer, seven, all of which were for H. B. Mackintosh; whole number

Superintendent for Superintendent, seven, all of which were for J. W. Lovering; whole number for Secretary, 7, all

Secretary of which were for L. G. Farmer; and each of the three last named was declared elected.

Salary of Treasurer Voted.

That the salary of the Treasurer be fixed at $2,500 for the ensuing year.

Superintendent That the salary of the Superintendent be fixed at $3,200. for the ensuing year, and that he shall have the use of a House and the grounds thereto belonging, the use of a Horse and Vehicle and the services of one man, at the expense of the Corporation.

Secretary That the Salary of the Secretary be fixed at $600. for teh ensuing year.

Clerk That the Salary of the Clerk be fixed at $1,100. for the ensuing year.

Standing Committees. The President announced the Standing Committees for 1886-7, as follows:

Grounds. Committee on Grounds.

The President, ex officio, and Messrs. Choate, Payson, Sears and Eaton.

Lots Committee on Lots.

The President and Messrs. Whitney and Jones.

Sales of Land The Secretary presented a Statement 244 of Sales of Land from to .

Representative Lot #3405 Voted That George H. Allen, of Somerville, a Son of the late Proprietor, be designated as the Representative of Lot #3405

Contract Perpetual Repair. The Committee on Lots recommended a contract for the perpetual care of Lot No. 3454, with Mrs. Sarah A Ham, for $325, and the same was approved by the Board.

Sales of Land. The Secretary presented Statements 245. 246 of Sales of Land from to .

Treasurer's Quarterly Report. The Treasurer having presented his Report 247. for the Quarter ending , the same was referred to the Committee on Finance.

Monthly Bills. The President reported that he had examined and approved the Schedule of Monthly Bills of , $3039.56, and that the same had been thereupon paid by the Treasurer.

New Offices Voted. That a location in Pemberton Square for the new offices of the Corporation is desirable, and that the matter of securing such new offices be intrusted to the committee previously appointed consisting of the President and Messrs. Choate and Browne, with full powers.
