April 25 1852 Sunday

Took Milly and Mrs Price to
(__) P. Morris's -- walked around
the old "Miller Farm" Went
and viewed the site of the
old house where Mother was
born, and the old spring
that furnished the house
with water. Went over to
see a lot of fine wheat on
the Lowry Farm - Saw John
Grant & Saml Miller there
the wheat had 300 lb guano
per acre - Lot 10 acres - 3000 lb
guano - 20 bushels of seed -
The old stone house where I
was born looked quite natural
the pine tree is still living
but the poplars are in decay
Part of the old apple orchard remain-
ing - This is the most pleasant
evening for a month past
