Saturday April 17th 1852

Went with Milly & took carpet
stuff to Miss Kirby near Brick
Meeting House -- Miss Nancy
quite talkative - Showed her
flowers - said she would have
the carpet woven by last of May.
Roads very muddy - saw a num-
ber of fish wagons - Milly took
much interest in viewing the
places with which she had been
familiar in her early days --
Stopped at Mr. Warburton's and
got some onion & tomato seed--
planted them in the evening
