Monday 14 Sic Sic cant eat
water bad cant Drink
I long to get home

Tuesday 15 no better this
evening my sick leave of
absence returned approved

Wensday 16th left camp for
home before sun rise took
the cars at Brandy Station
at 10 oclock arrived in washington
by 5 in the evening took the cars
for Baltimore 8 oclock stoped
at the Washington house with
Lieut Mahan of our Reg

Thursday 17 took the cars
for Elkton and arrived the by
11 oclock took the Stage
