Tuesday 8 no better men busy
friging(?) up quarters for winter
no news in camp

Wensday 9 Still very sick
taking medison but does not
reach the disease

Thursday 10 am very sick no
appetite to eat relish nothing
but that I (__) not eat

Friday 11 diarear a little
better but completely prostrate
no appetite to eat think I
shall have to leave if
I am not better i am
thankfull to god for his goodness to me

Saterday 12 am very unwell
nothing new in camp
Col Horn Left for washington

Sunday 13 applied for a
sick leave of absence of
20 days visit the Brigade
