Aprile
Saterday 11 the day very warm
and pleasant the men playing
Ball all day nothing of much
interest to day went over to the
67 Reg to See the Chapline
to make Some arangement
about preaching Saw them
mount Brigade Guard this
morning for the first the band
was preasant I am still very
Sore but am improving and in
good health
Sunday 12 this morning
I received a note from the Pro
marshall stating that arrangement
had been made for me to preach
in the babtist church at 11 oclock
I Preached to a good turn out
of Soldiers but no citizens
in the after noon herd Rev Macitire
a private in the (__) Reg attended a
funeral at 4 oclock. attend and
held prayr meeting in No 1
tent Co G very unwell took ["a" - crossed out]
some medisan at night
thank god for his goodness
