April
Wensday 1st this morning
very cold our waggons
left to day with our camp
equipage for our regiment
at Barry Ville will return
to morrow for the rest of our
things when we will leave if
nothing happens spent hte most
of the day with the quarter master
and Some time with the band
received an invitation from the
chaplain of the first Reg to
preach for him on friday
night but declined as I
expect to leave on friday
morning for the Reg meet with
Capt Robison(?) of the fourth
main Battery as the quarter
masters he is a pleasant man
he remarked that he had hurd
Some faithfull men pray that
made him feal as if the devil
was after him he is or was a
lawyer by profession before
he entered the army I am
in good health for which
I feal thankfull
