Untranscribed 1862

Friday 27 this has been a
very warm pleasant day
Visited the Hospital some
of the Sick are improving
some are very low visited the
quarter master took a walk
with Col Horn held
prayr meeting to night in
Co G quarters am in good
health thank god

Saterday 28th had a regimental
(__), inspection, and muster,
in for pay Co G and H passed
the inspection some of the
men had their testaments
open in their napsacks the
Col talked to some of them
for geting drunk went over
to the first Reg at their flag
presentation it was presented by
a Gentleman from California
the flag was from California
Balt City Counsel was
present some good speaking
was made and two from
(__) was present
the river is very high am
in good health.
