Untranscribed 1862

Tuesday 30 last night extremely
cold this morning very cold
and unpleasant. nothing special
to disappointed in not getting
a letter from home was in
my room and in head
quarters all day am well

Wesnday 4th very cold this
morning got my likeness taken
to day Sixty Seventh Pa Reg
came here to day they are
without tents. no shelter
from the cold and snow
only as they can get in
with the other Regiments
Disappointed to say again
no letter from home
am in good health for which
I am thankfull

Thursday 5th terible storm
of wind and snow and very
cold snowing all day wood
very scarce the men have to
cut down the ornamental and
shade trees to keep themselves
warm wrote some rules for
the goverment of the drum
Boys to be nailed up In
