Untranscribed 1862

who done the deed was almost
frantic. The man shot never
spok the captain told me
he was the best man he
had a member of our church
and belonged to Co H
visited the Hospitals in
Williamsport and distributed
some testaments, prayed with
the man who received the
wound in the head he is
very low and some what
distaught in mind visited
Andrew Smith he is some
better the young man
killed this morning
was removed to his
home this evening he
was conducted by four
privates and a corporal
with their caps on the lid
of the coffin I led in
the procession from the hous
to the haXXr I was visited
this evening by two breathern
from the left wing by the
name of Brown and Angel
They are pious men
