bravely we lost in our
reg. 9 killed & 41 womean terible
fighting I stayed all night at the
hospital assisted with the wounded
gave one dollar for a
bunch of fodder for my horse
the battle fought in the wilderness
near mini run
Saturday 28 Started with the wounded
in the rain to the front to the Corps
hospital put a wounded man
on my (__) I walked till
12 orders Came up to our Reg and
brigade in line of battle Started
for Robison terrace at headquarters
skirmishes in front
took Supper marched till 8 oclock
in the night encamped for the night
on the wet ground sleep well thank
god for his goodness
Sunday 29 in camp all day rebels
in our front behind their breast work
great Maneuvering expect a fight here
