Logic

über Menschen=und Thierseele in 1862 turned the thoughts of
every philosophical mind toward psychology. I rate the
importance of the scientific study of psychology as high as anybody
possibly can, although I think the class of minds which have been
chiefly devoting themselves to it not? have shown little but a moderate bent of genius
in that direction. Since that epoch, or that of Fechner's great work,
the logical point of view has seemed unscientific; but I
hope to convince you that it is the proper one in logic.
