We had quite a sprinkle.
Our hands & arms were
so stiff, sore, blistered.
When we quit work,
we didn't know
what to do. I have not,
as yet, raised a blister
but,almost. How our
hands look, especially
our nails. I got a
pair of gloves today at
noon. They only charge
us 10 cents for gloves, 25 for
little nasty caps, 35
for Dark Queen oil
aprons & I think 50
for the dress aprons.
They only give us 18 cents
a box, so will take
all week to get enough
to to pay, [off?], the above
