Having read in the newspapers
that you are soon to appoint a City pure food
inspector in conjunction with the county,
I respectfully beg to apply for the position,
believing that I am capable of filling same
for the best interests of all concerned. I have
lived in Texas about twenty five years, coming
to this country from Scotland when twenty
years old, have lived in Ft. Worth about five
years, have been engaged in the cattle business
in all of its different phases nearly all my
life. Was manager and cattle salesman for
Inter-State Com. & Co. Ft. Worth nearly four years,
since retiring from that position have been doing
business with & for Davis & Ham and Godair-
Crowley Comm. Co to either or both of these Co.
