Whereas it is made to appear to the Board of Commissioners that
the platforms or porches at 1002 and 1004 Rusk Street owned or controlled
by the Crouch Hardware Company and the porches or platforms at corner
of West Weatherford and Burnett Streets owned or controlled by Stewart
& Levy constitute an obstruction to travel of foot passengers upon the
sidewalks of said Rusk, West Weatherford and Burnett Streets and that
the same are [and] inconvenience to the public and that the same should be
removed.

Therefore, Be it Resolved by the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Fort Worth, that the said Crouch Hardware Co., and Stewart &
Levy be and they are hereby directed to remove said platforms and porches
within ten days froom this date and that all orders, resolutions, permis-
sion or grant of easement or privilege to maintain said platforms and
porches heretofore in any manner granted or given be and the same are
hereby revoked and annulled: and that the City Secretary notify the
said Crouch Hardware Co., and Stewart & Levy in writing of this order
or resolution and it is further ordered that in the event said obstruc-
tions are not removed within said time that an order be given to the
City Marshal to remove the same.
