Dear Douglass:—I wish to acknowledge the receipt of $8. dollars through your paper. From a friend in Halifax Novia Scotia by the name of M. Brnahen. And also an unknown friend at Lockport for five dollars, all of which in behalf o the poorest of Gods poor. I thank these kind friends. We cared for fifty-five in the last two months, and they still come.
