Warm - Went in morning to see Benj. Miller who had just returned from Baltimore. Eliza Wright called & Saml & Frank - Eliza Davis called. Went in afternoon to church. Mr Helmbold preached. Got $25 of E. Scarborough
21 Pleasant - Went to Elkton saw Dr. Dunott and promised to survey for him on Monday Mailed $100 to A. Anderson Port Deposit - Saw Robert McC at Mr Walmsley's - promised Mrs to write to Stephen Johnson Heard of the nomination of Scott Brought up Mr Mackall's carriage Came by Marley - W. C. Carter paid his bill $250 -. School ended to day

22nd June Tuesday - Pleasant - went to Scotts Mill - Got rake teeth and some other stuff - R. Gallaher paid his bill $2.50 - Elizabeth Wilson came home - Picnic
23 Cool - Worked in shop Hooped wheels for E. Scarborough W.C. Carter engaged horse rake James McVey called to sell hubs & spokes
24 Worked in shop - making horse rake for C. Carter
25 Cool - Mr Wilson returned from Baltimore & brought Rev Mr Howell to look at property E. Chandler along - John Means sent 654 ft plank (645 my measure) recd letter from Port - Wm McClelland & Danl J.

June 26th 1852 Saturday - Went to Elkton with V who was going down County Mr Price took Mr Wilson & Milly to Elkton. Milly stayed all night.
27 Sunday Went to Elkton for Milly Fire at J.C. Howards lumber yard Took dinner & supper with Robt. Rev Mr Howell preached at Elkton.
28 Monday - Joseph Miller & Harry called - also Fitzsimmons Surveyed for Dr. Dunott - (Aunt Lydia came
Tuesday 29 Commenced moving but there being much appearance of rain great at noon
35 Weather looks more favorable and George commenced moving again. White washing going on - Rained a little. V. went to Elkton & brought 2 letters & rake bed

July 1st 1852 Warm - raked and haulded in part of our hay - Heard of the death of Henry Clay.
2nd Finished hauling in hay got it all in in good order but rather green - Finished Mr Price's plough
3 AT work in shop at Carter's horse rake - Martha & Lizzie came up from Elkton
Sunday 4 Independence Mr. Taylor preached at New Leeds - Martha went to Union A. Barrett preached there.
5 Warm - Ploughed corn & potatoes Martha & Mary went to Elkton Aunt Lydia went home - sent letter to Danl J.
