A good day.

Ben and family went to Jim Powers. I went to Johnson Reynolds. They brough me home on the car.

Dr Wiggonton and Pearl come to see Kate. She was not at home. She was at Marvins. They went to Ren Worshams.

A lot of the grand children went on the mountain to day. Miss Mayhan went with them.

9 oclock

Some rain to day not enough to stop work. Ben helped Marvin Smith cover his barn. Mr Owen plowed.

Josie got dinner and colored some eggs for the children and made some bats for her quilt.

Carrie and the children was here a while this evening. The children had a time hunting eggs. I sowed a few seed in the garden to day.

Eleven oclock by the new time.

A good day.

Ben went to Renan this morning for plow points. Went to see Mag a few minutes.

Josie done a big washing and finished by twelve oclock.

Marvin Smith went to Altavista this evening. The three boys and I went with him. I had no business. He kindly offered to take me. I had a pleasant evening. We saw Mr Rice and Mr Rorer. I was glad to see them.

A clear good day.

Ben cleaned up the land for Mr Owens to plow.

Josie put a quilt in the frames. Isla and Cordie Blair come and helped her quilt this evening.

I got dinner.

A cloudy day some rain this evening.

Ben went to the mill this morning. Mr Owens plowed. Josie ironed some and got dinner. Finished quilting her quilt this morning. I went to see Mag this evening. Edna went with me. Found them all well. Odie and Lottie and Miss Jessie Kellie was there. I come by Kates. Kate Reynolds was there.

The red hogs pigs came today.
