A very warm day for February. The snow is about all gone. Ben & Henry shucked some corne and fed the stalks. This evening they sawed some wood in the woods. Josie killed and dress a chicken & baked a cake. We boiled some meat and stewed fruit for dinner. I washed a few garments & a lot of olde stockings. Ben & Josie milked night and morning. The children played games tonigh. Ben has gone to Strait Stone to meet at the lodge. He went horse back. The mud is so bad.

A good colde day. Ben plowed part of the day. Jim and olde John cut all day. Ben and Henry has gone to Strait Stone. Ben went to the lodge for the first time in several months. Nellie sowed some today. I cut some pieces for a quilt. I [washed?] some this evening. I let Edna and Franklin go to Reynols this evening. They did not stay long. Mollie was gone to see Mrs. Kellie. She is sick. Norman Booker carried Ben to Strait Stone tonight. Edna got the first butter cup today.
