A good day. The men hauled in the pea hay this mornin and hauled manure this evening. Commenced to use the spreader this evening. Josie helped to get dinner to day and has got the dinner for ten days she says. I went to Mr Owens and dressed the baby.

While we were eating dinner Marvin called me and ask if I wanted to go fishing. Of course I said I wanted to go so he carried me to Cedar Forest. I did not catch many fish.

I was glad of the trip.

I got a letter from Alma this evening. Ben & Jim has gone to Willie Mayhews to night to get him to haul a load of guano.

A good day.

Josie & I got the dinner.

I went to Owens and dressed the baby.

Nellie and Evylin went home this evening.

Ben & Jim went to Gretna. They went on Bens car.

Sister Mary & Minty Motley come to day. Claud Debs? brough them. I am very glad that they come. Marvin & family come a few minutes this evening.

A cloudy day. Rain tonight. Ben cut his oats to day. Jim come home from Chatham to night. He come with Johnson Reynolds.

Mrs. Owen come a while this evening. Brought her new baby Benjamine Franklin.

I went to George Blairs this evening. They were getting up their wheat.

Mr Charley Hutcherson was planting corn this evening on wheat land.

Isla Blair & Cordie was gone to Ren Worshams

10 oclock

Ben bought a sack of ship [?] stuff from Irvin Lewis.

A cool day. To night is colde. Jim & Ben went to Chatham. Nellie come with them home. I am very glad that she come.

Mr Owens baby is sick. I do hope he may be better soon. Josie baked a fruit cake to day.

Mr Owens carried some chickens to Long Island this evening.

I was at Marvins a few minutes this evening.

A very bad day. Hail & rain and sleet. The ice was so heavy that some trees broke. The olde cut paper here broke badly.

Jim and Ben stripped tobacco. Ben milked for me this morning. I was a fraid I might fall on the ice.

I got dinner and churned. Mr Sam Owens baby is very sick. Josie went up there this evening. I am sorry for them but cant help them. Marvin solde tobacco at Gretna today. Was well pleased. I am so glad. I have not seen any of Marvins people in some time. Hope the weather will soon be better so I can get a round.

Mabel has woke up. She gives her mother a hard time. I pittie Josie and the baby.
