A good day. Ben went to Eanes's to finish the job of tining his house. Come home at twelve. Jim plowed all the morning. This evening they cut a log to carry to the saw mill. To night Mr Fretwell is here to spend the night. Josie sowed some. She has bin complaining of the tooth ache some today. The children went to school to day. I went to Marvins a little while.

Carrie was very much complaining.

A good day. Jim plowed and Ben went to the saw mill twice. Carried two logs & brought back lumber.

Josie washed a big washing. Kate Harvey come and spent the day. I was glad to see her. A picture agent come here to day. Agents is plentyful now.

I walked with Kate as far as Marvins. Marvin was stripping tobacco.

Tonight Edna broke a chamber vessel and let Mabel fall off the bed then had a good cry and went to sleep.

Jim and Ben helped Marvin tie tobacco tonight. I carried Carries quilt home this evening.

A good day. Some clouds but no rain here. Jim & Henry moved some tobacco. Ben went to the saw mill. Carried two logs one this morning and one this evening.

I ironed some this morning. Josie got dinner and ironed this evening.

Reese and Roy and I went to White Falls. Did not catch many fish. Paul Smith stuck a nail in his foot today. I hope it wont hurt him long.

Reese & I stoped at Mt Airy and at Renan. We bought a few things at both places.

A cool windy day. Ben & Jim cut a log and Ben went to the saw mill. He brought lumber back when he come. Jim and Marvin plowed some this evening. Mr Cothron[?] come to see Josie this evening. He wanted her dues on the church.

Josie and I was starting to Marvins. They carried us on the car that far. I was glad of the ride as Josie would had to carrie Mabel all the way.

A clear day. There was a big frost this morning. Oh we need rain so bad.

Jim and Ben cut a log to take to the saw mill in the morning. They went to Kate Harveys this evening and sowed some wheat for her. Josie ironed most all day. We went to Marvins this evening. Mrs Hutcherson and Mollie Reynols come while we were there. The children went to school to day.
