A cool windy day. The men folks sawed wood here & at Mr Owens. Josie ironed some and got dinner. This evening she sewed on pants for Franklin.

Aubrey Brumfield come here this evening for potatoes. I did not have them for him. Jim made a hot bed Tuesday and used all the potatoes that was fit to bed.

I have mised sister Mary and Mintie to day. Hope they got home ok.

I cut some grass out of the straw berrie patch this evening. Edna and Paul went to Molly Reynolds's this evening. They did not stay but a little while.

9:30 oclock

Today was Roy Smiths birthday.

A good day. Lonnie Bennett brought me to Jo Towlers this morning. I eat dinner with brother Jo & sister Mary. After ward we went to Billie Bennetts. They were well over there. I want to be at home so bad.

A good day and very hot. They need rain so bad. I staid at brother Joes until dinner then sister Mary and I went to brother Johns. They were all well. I saw John Motley for the first time.

Annie Pickerel made made ice cream. We all enjoyed it very much. I lost my side comes this morning.

A clear cold morning wind and a little snow this evening. Ben & Jim ground their axes this morning. Josie & I got dinner.

Ben carried Nellie and Evylin to Gretna this evening. I went with them did not suffer much with colde. Josie had supper about done when we got home.

Tonight Thelma & Mary and Ben has gone to Lee Brumfields to a dance. Mary and Thelma went to George Blairs,

A clear cold day. Ben went to Mr Edmons and killed his horse that got his leg broke. Jim & Owen and Ben cut and hauled some wood. I got the most of the dinner. Killed a chicken. Josie baked a cake this evening. Thelma & Mary has bin with us all day today. I held the little baby the most of the evening. 9 30 oclock
