Tuesday April 26, 1921
A good day. Very warm this evening. A thunder cloud now at 8 oclock. Ben plowed today. Jim plowed the garden and worked it with the hoe. Josie and I washed this morning. Josie got dinner. Carrie washed with their new washer. They are pleased with it.
Josie and the children all but Edna went to Marvins.
Josie washed the dineing room floor be fore she went. Reese carried Edna and I to White Falls. I caught three fish. Reese caught one. There was at least a dozen people at the river. I guess all had a good time if they did not get many fish.
Tuesday May 10, 1921
A beautiful day. Jim and Ben tobacco land all day. Josie and I washed this morning. Josie got dinner this evening.
Mrs Car and I and Edna and Reese Smith went to White Falls. Mrs Car and I fished a little. By the kindness of Marvin and Carrie I got to go. They are very good to me. Mrs Car and I stoped at Mount Airy and Renan. I paid up for the phone this evening.
Edna has come to go to bed.
Saturday May 21, 1921
A good day. The boys planted corn all day. Josie washed windows and scrubed floors. I done nothing as usual. Josie baked a cake this evening.
Reese Smith carried me to White Falls. I fished. I caught 19 fish. Paul Smith went with us tonight. Floid Reynols & Aubra Brumfield come here and ask Henry to go camping. I dont like no such. Hope nothing nothing wont happen to them.
Monday May 23, 1921
A good day. Jim & Ben and Henry worked on the corn land all day.
Josie sewed on Edna a dress. Mabel is not well.
I went to Marvins and Carrie and all the children went to White Falls. We had a good trip. Hellen & Virginia come this morning a few minutes on busines. I caped a few straw berries tonight.

Wednesday June 1, 1921
A good day. The boys worked in their tobacco all day. Josie sewed some this morning. This evening she starched the clothes and ironed most of them.
I went with Carrie and the children to White Falls. They carried corn. The miller could not grind it but swaped meal for the corn. We fished some. Caught some fish. Stopped at Mount Airy and at Renan. Johnson & Mollie went to Chatham. They carried Mildred Fergerson with them.
