A good day. Ben & Jim plowed in the corn. Ben carried Josie & Edna and Franklin to Jim Powers at twelve. Henry & I went as far as the crossin at Starkeys.

We fished until Ben come back then come home. Then I went to where Booker Callums lives on Mrs Haleys land. Mollie Reynolds and I hunted strawberries. Did not find many. I milked by lantern light to night.

We had new Irish potatoes for dinner to day. They was fine. I made a few preserves this morning.

A good day. Jim & Ben and Henry worked on the corn land all day.

Josie sewed on Edna a dress. Mabel is not well.

I went to Marvins and Carrie and all the children went to White Falls. We had a good trip. Hellen & Virginia come this morning a few minutes on busines. I caped a few straw berries tonight.

A cloudy day. A little rain. Ben and Jim tinkered a round all day. Ben & Josie went to Strait Stone and Cedar Forest. Josie bought a set of cups and saucers. Paid $1.50 for them.

Josie made Henry two shirts today. I sewed on my quilt. I pulled some grass from among the straw berries vines. Henry and Edna went to school.

We have heard that Emmet Brumfield has whooping cough.

A beautiful day cool and dry. We need rain very bad. Ben went to Eanes a gain today. Mr Mayhew went with him. They eat supper there. Jim planted a gate post and done a round here all day.

Josie ironed this morning. Worked all the evening at one thing an other. I mended a few things this evening and worked on the straw berry vines a little getting the grass out. We bought a peice of beef this morning. We all enjoyed it.

Today was Mabels birth day. She has had a good day for her. Henry gathered a few peas to day.

A good day we need rain bad. Ben & Jim plowed in the corn and Henry thinned corn all day.

Mrs. Car & Josie strung snaps Mrs. Trent & I scraped the potatos. I baked a pudding. This evening Mrs Hutcherson & Ada Hutcherson come and brought Josie some light rolls hot and some apples. Grace Vale come and picked berries. I went with them to the field.

Hattie bought four gallons of berries. There has bin the most dew berries that I ever saw.

I worked in Franklins foot this morning.
