in gorge between boulders.
6505 Monterey (?) Hermit Thrush (male sign) ad. 26.5g.(fat). In cascara bush.
6406 Junco (male sign) ad. 21.0g. Shot from small pine, among
manzanita patches.

6407 Scapanus (male sign) 40.9g. 146x34x18.5.(sic) "Scooped" out of "run" in gravelly soil.
6408 Microtus (female sign) 46.0g. 162x45x24x11. Trapped under saw-grass near creek.
6409 Neotoma fuscipes (male sign) 140g. 343x158x34x25. Trapped at
"house" (chiefly of pine needles, cones and twigs) in midst of
manzanita thicket.
6410 Tanager (male sign) im. 28.7g. Shot in pine; another seen in
cascara bush.
6411 Peromyscus maniculatus (female sign) 13.4g. 143x65x19x14. Under edge of boulders in dry slope.

6413 Mountain Quail (female sign) } These, the first of the species
