On Friday a young girl who has worked at Curtis
& Perkins, and boarded at Mr Beale's died - and
yesterday afternoon Mary and I went up to Aunt
Hadlock's, and were just in time to make the
robe for one of their neighbors, a married woman
though only nineteen years of age - These frequent
warnings make us feel as nothing else can that
in the midst of life we are in death - that if we
would die the death of the righteous, we must live
the life of the righteous - May we all be found
with our lamps trimmed and burning ready for the
coming of the Son of Man!

The Sermon this morning was on Heaven
Rev. 21, 1, 22 - 27. "And I saw a new heaven and a
new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth
were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God
Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
And the city has no need of the sun, neither of the
moon to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten
it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the
nations of them that are saved shall walk in
the light of it: and the kings of the earth shall
bring their glory and honor into it. And the
gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for
there shall be no night there. And they shall
bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.
