A bad day. Hailed nearly all day. Jim & Ben could not do any thing out doors. They got some splits and mended a basket. One of the pupys bit Ben this evening. I hope it wont be any thing much. Jim killed a duck this morning. I dressed it. Josie got dinner. I mended some blankets this evening. The children did not go to school. They were not well and the day was so bad.
