Sept 19th. Pulling & tying up fodder I went to
see Mr Yates in evening quite cool

20th Stayed at home this day

21st Cloudy & like for rain this morning
worming & succoring Tobacco this morning

22 Beet one press full of apples for vinegar
Lowry Halling leaves & wood to fire Tobacco
Cutting wood to fire Tobacco, cloudy & Raining
a little Raining of & on nearly all day
hauled some wood & leaves & cut Some wood

23 Cutiing & halling wood to Barns

24 Worming & succoring over Tobacco I went
to old place & to Rolands to See him about Rent
cutting tops this morning cloudy Rained
tremendous hard yesterday & at Mullins old housecaught me on road

25 Raining nearly all the time & cloudy
Rained all night last night we have
been all the morning fixing bridges
Tommy & Doron hauling young steers Mr
Dalton fixed gates hooped runlet picking
Turnip Patch & worming & succoring Tobaccolot
ground very wet indeed

26th Cloudy & Raining & has been off & on all
this week Commenced last Sunday no fodder
saved yet of any consequence, quite cool
worming & succoring our lot this morning

[27] Stayed at home Rained some

2[?] 28 fixing corn field fence Pulling
fodder & opening Some & will Stack it
If it will [o] one of my Hogs Dead

29th Pulling fodder at home in lot & mountain
I went to Yates Mill carried 5 Bushels corn
for self meal 2½ Bus for Dalton 1 Bus. for Lowry
& ½ Bus. for Estes 4 Bushels wheat of Richard
wheat for flour got the 5 Bus. corn of Richard
fair pretty weather now for any thing

30. Pulling fodder & finished pulling

Oct 1st Began to cut Tobacco. Stacked 2
stacks Blade fodder this evening
