Monday, May 28, 1923

A good day. Ben went
to Chatham. Thomson
carried him. Jim and Henry
and John watered the
plant bed.
Kate and Irvin come a
few minutes this
evening. The girls has
bin dressed like boys
and played all the
evening. I filled
some pillow ticks
with feathers this
evening. Did not get
the washing done
today. Hatties folks
has the measles.
Henry went to Renan
this morning fo sugar.
I made three quarts
of straw berry preserves
this morning.
We need rain very bad.
Did hope we would have some
this evening.
