A cloudy day. Rain this evening.
Jim and Ben worked around
here until after twelve.
They they went to the sale of
Jessie Hutchersons land.
Mr. Norman Booker carried
me with his family to the river at Mr. Jim
Bookers fish trap. They
had a fish fry. There
was some fifty or more
people there. The me
done the cooking. The
fish was fried as nice
as could be. We had
a good time. Some of
them had fried chicken
and some had ham and
cake and cream. We
all took a shower
of rain. The rain was
badly needed. Hope all
got home safe. I cooked
supper after I got
home.
