Saturday, March 17, 1923

A cloudy morning.
Clear this evening.
Ben and Jim could not
do anything much.
John Ward brought us
two buckets of water
from his spring. By twelve
we could get water at home.
We had no mail today.
Heard this evening that
no one had crossed
the island today.
Nellie got dinner.
Ben cut some sallit.
We did enjoy it.
Ben went to Rob
Hubbands this evening.
Will stay all night. I
think Edna miss him
worse than any body
else. Jim went with
Mr. [Peak?] to Renan.
I am about a
sleep. Good night.
Jo Edmons has mesles.
