A good day. Rain tonight.
The men folks finished cutting
a [c...ing?] of tobacco for
Booker & commence to cut for
Ben. Irvin Harvey & [Aulens?]
Brumfield helped them cut.
Norman & a little nero [negro?]helped
them. They did not fill the
barn. Carrie & her
children come a while.
I was glad to see them.
I gathered some snaps
for dinner tomorrow.
Max can come home this
morning eat dinner here.
Tonight there is a gathering
at Lee's and [M...?]
went. I am [m....?]
