A cloudy day most of the day.
A good rain tonight. The men
folks helped Norman Booker
cut tobacco. All of them
got wet. Had two loads of
tobacco to hoist tonight so had
supper late. Edna & Franklin
brought in some wood & brought
water and put up the milk
while I milked the cows.
Grace & Effie Brumfield
come to see Josie this evening.
They brought some apples. I am glad.
Claud & Nellie Hendricks
come. I was glad that
they did. I ironed a little
this evening.
The boys have some fine mellons.
