Sunday, July 30, 1922

A good day rain tonight.
Jim & Norman Booker walked
around in the crop all the
morning. Ben carried Ella
Hubbard home. All the
children went with him.
Nellie and I got dinner.
Louisa John & family
come to see Josie this
evening. The Boys got
their first water
mellons[sic] today. I peeled
4 pounds of pears today.
Gathered some snaps
for tomorrows dinner.
Mrs Car come to
the table to day.
I am so glad she
is better.
