A good day. Ben &
Jim went to Ned Walkers
and helped to cover
a stable. Henry worked
in the tobacco. I cut the
honey out of [qu..?]. Nella[?]
got dinner. Mrs Edmons
sent some cake and chicken
her this morning. Lillian
Kent come up here this
evening. She brought cake
& some nice meat. Every
one has bin so good to
Josie. Mrs Car is very
sick. The Doc was to
see her this evening. Kate
come and staid with us
to night. Ben has gone
after Ella Hubbard [near?] 9 o'clock.
