Tuesday, February 28, 1922

A cloudy day. Ben was in
Danville. Solde the last tobacco
that they had. Did not get much
for it. Ben got home OK
a little after dark. Jim
shucked some corn and fed
the stalks to the cows.
Marvin come and eat dinner
with us. I was so glad to
see him. Josie ironed
some this morning and
Nell ironed some this evening.
Henry is reading. He sleeps
in my room now that Nellie
is home. Anna Callans (col)[coloured]
come here and wanted to
rent a house. I am sorry
for her but dont want her
here.
