A good day. Jim & Ben shucked
a shock of corn and gave the
stalk to the cows. Then they loaded
up the car with Jims scrap meat
and sausage, a few chickens and
went to Chatham. I think they
did fine. They attended to several
things and got home before dark.
I am very glad that they went.
The roads are very good now.
Josie scrubed some floors and
got dinner. I went to George
Blairs. Denia was not at home.
She had gone to Altavista with
Otho and Sallie. I would of bin
glad to see her but I dont
blame her. If it was me I think [?]
go evry chance I could get.
I spent a pleasant evening
with the girls. The children
went to school today.
