up to this day he is gathering Beans to […]
& helping about fodder 1 day more
Turning over Blade fodder & cutting tops to day
clearing off warm pretty day lent Jerry my
horse yesterday nanny gone to Susan Roarks but
not see her at all my Broken leg hog getting well

4th Tying up stacking sorry fodder & tops

5. Cutting Tops & tying up, stacked 1 stack
Sorry Blades old Billy left here yester=
day & I settled with him in full
I went to Millers Mill to day Carryd
2½ Bushels Corn for meal for us lent
Big Henry 2½ Bus. & little Henry 1 Bushel brot
all home old Henry is to return me
3 Bus. & little Henry 1 Bushel & pick
at gathering time - I Brot home
from Mill my Log sawed into flooring
Plank & Carried 1 Log to day to pay
for that, my other timber is there sawed

6th. Finished Cutting & tying up tops this
evening & then Cut & Halled some wood
& lightwood clear fair day & moderate
Put up 7 Stacks Blade fodder caught in
the rain & very little account,-

7th. Pretty day Sunday

8th. Cutting Tobacco & Hanging

9th. Cutting & Hanging Tobacco 2 days about 800[?]
I went to CH to Carry childrens clothes

10 Halling up Tobacco & Housing new Barn Crews
likely for rain this morning — about 12 O
clock it thundered lightened & rained tremendous
hard, did not get done housing what we had out
