in my Runlet, the have finished stacking
fodder up there put up 9 stacks & apiece
began in Lot below Kitchen –to cut Tobacco this 18th Friday in evening
18th quite Cool one of Sows has 6 pigs
Mrs Huntswent to Riceville to meeting called, I got home last night
about 10 Oclock in night, -
19 stayed at home I went to H. Fletcher
Burial. Jerry went to Riceville
20. I went to Cedar Hill to see about
Tobacco stacks etc, cutting Tobacco
Here,- fine dry weather
21 I went to CH Cutting Tobacco
Here at Johns Branch - got about
9 or 10 Oclock in night -
22nd Beet a press full of Crabs
for vinegar last night & this
morning - etc etc finished at
Johns Branch last evening over cutting
one time,-
This day we are cutting Tobacco
at mountain etc; & new ground at
mountain Spring.
23 Finished at mountain cutting over and
quite cool this morning
24th began to House Tobacco this morning
I am going to Cedar to House there
If we can Capt Clements has promised
to get his Tobacco out of the Barns
to day,- as they have not sold it yet
got nearly 2 Barns old prize & one back
of Garden nearly full & Halled up Lot
at Cedar Hill last night before it Rained
small shower last night before I came home
25th This morning Raining.-
