Preston Aug 11th 1920 The July meeting of the Women's Missionary Society was held this evening at the home of Mrs Schleuter with an attendance of twenty one and one visitor. Moved by Mrs Stahlschmidt seconded by Mrs Schlueter that the honorary members be honorably dropped from the roll. Carr. Moved by Mrs Kleindienst sec. by Mrs Pelz that $5.60 equalization dues be paid and the Treasurer be notified. Carr. The synodical dues are $3.00 to 30 members and 10 ¢ extra for every member above 30. Mrs Theurer invited the next meeting to be held at her home. held their annual convention at the Seminary, Waterloo on Monday July 26th 1920. Morning session at 9.30 a.m. The meeting was opened by Rev Prof A. A. Zieck. He announced "Jesus Lover of my Soul." The text: What shall I do to be saved I cannot by my own strength or faith be saved but by the help of God. To be a church member really means to be in communication with God. After which prayer was offered We sang " from Greenland's Icy Mountain." Then there was the address of welcome to delegates by Miss H. Smith of Waterloo The President Mrs Casselman responded very nicely brought into recollection the wonderful work that has been done. and since the seminary has been erected they have raised over fifteen thousand dollars. women to become public speakers and to do a great and noble work and we should not let our personal or individual affairs interfere with the work of our society and other good work. We are to be fair to the Lord. Owing to the absence of so many delegates the roll call was put on table till afternoon. Greetings were then received by Rev. Dr. J. Maurer, President of Central Canada in which he stated that we should have a representative at each convention.

Address by Mrs Wiles from Philadelphia, she stated in her address, we are to remember the general funds of which we meet expenses of missionary salaries.

The minutes of the last annual meeting were read by secretary Mrs Moeckel and accepted. The Treasurer's report was received as read and Treasurer

Mrs. Becker said: Very often money is sent in and is not mentioned where it should be used, it should always be stated for what cause it is sent.

Report of executive Committee was read and adopted. It was decided to have an annual meeting in which Mrs. Moeckel was elected chairman of Committee. It was moved and seconded that Mrs Casselman be editor of Women's Column. Missionary Exhibits be secured and place din charge of Ladies' Auxiliary Seminary.

It was moved and adopted we send a delegate to synod next year.

It was moved and adopted That we give to summer school Fifty Dollars if necessary. Mrs Shorts closed the morning session with prayer. All went to the dining room where lunch was prepared
