20 Nov. Meeting 1821

William Hicks restored to fellowship.

Ben a brother of Colour belonging to Wilder was Excommunicated for the sin of adultery.

Recd. from brother Lott Robertson a Letter desiring to withdraw from the Church. brother John Parker, and Amoss Horton nominated to cite him to attend at our next Conference. At the same time brother Johnston Britt and Rightman Hilliard was nominated to cite Elizabeth Potter to attend our nect meeting of Conference

December Meeting 1821

The case of brother Lott Robertson laid over. brother Rightman Hilliard nom. to cite Eliz. Potter to attend our next Conference.

February Meeting 1822

The case of brother Lott Robertson taken up, and he withdrew his Letter; the Church finds two charges against the sd. brother that of beating his wife, and for the sin of adultery; the Church therefore appointed a Committee composed of the following brethren to deal with brother Robertson accordingly, (viz) John Purifoy John Parker, Johnston Britt, Rightman Hilliard. Duke Strictland, Cade Alford and Amoss Horton. The above Committee Report, that they have taken the case of brother Robertson into consideration, and that the sd. brother has given them satisfaction, therefore the sd. brother Rob.ts is restored to his former privileges in the Church. The report received. A charge brought brother Hicks for drinking to excess, likewise against him and Wife for keeping a dis-orderly House. Brother Britt to cite them to attend at our next Conference. Dismissd. by Letters brother Jessey Horton and brother Orthenial Trawick. Brother John Parker Johnston Britt + Cade Alford nominated to see and examine sister Elizabeth Potter concerning a charge of fornication

21 that stands against her in the Church, and report to our next Conference.
