A Committee appointed by the Church to say what
the Pastor of the Church of Hephzibah shall receive for
his labours p. Annum, and for the sum to be raised by
the Church, in proportion to the abilities of each Member
belonging to sd. Church. -- The Committee Composed of the
following Members (viz), Brother Johnston Britt,
Lott Robertson, Willie Nichols, Jessy Horton and brother
Marmaduke Strictland.

Dismissed by Letter Fanny Vinson.

Nov. Meeting 1820.

The following Members restored to fellowship. Rachel
Rice, Clary a sister of Colour, and brother Joseph
Shaw senr. (Dismissed by Letter.) A charge brought forward
by Johnston Britt against Sally Trawick for Slander +
not dealing with him according to Gospel Order, and
for saying, if he stayed in the Church she would not;
denying the same, and afterward confessing it to be
the truth. Dismissed by Letter, Michael a brother of Co-
-lour, belonging to Joseph Tucker. Excommunicated for
the sin of Drunkenness + drawing his Knife; likewise for
telling lies. At the same time Sally Trawick came for-
-ward and requested to be restored to fellowhip again
the case laid over until next meeting.

Ordered that brother Lott Robertson, Rightman Hilliard
Cade Alford + John Parker be appointed to examine into
the character of Lany George, and report to our next mee-
-time of Conference. A charge brought forward by Elder
Crudup against his Servant Ephraim for concealing of stolen
Cotton and denying it.
