At the Bull Creek meeting Brother F. Stradley & Naomi his wife applied for letters of dismission, whic was granted with deep regret, Brother Stradley having honorably discharged the office of Deacon to our great comfort and edification a long time, the will of the lord be done. Twas like taking away a pillar, but we hope our foundation stands fast.
November services conducted at the Presbytrerian Meeting House by the Pastor Elder T. Stradley. A door for the reception of Members was opened when Alesey & Sophia servants of Mrs. Morrison related an acceptable experience & confession of Faith Immersion deferred until a more convnient time.
December Meeting disappointed the Pastor from Home. = 1845 = January, February, March & April meetings conducted at the Presbytarian Meeting House by Elder T. Stradley.
May prevented preaching our opportunity intercepted as often before. met in the afternoon at the River and Immersed the two candidates for fellowship. Immediately coming out of the water the Pastor gave the right hand of fellowship.
June monthly meeting held at the River Hill Meeting House according to previous notice. Elser S. Presnt. Gave an opportunity to all present to unite. When Anney, a servant of J. M. Smith, Esq., presented herself as a dismissed member from a Church in Virginia stated her letter was mislaid. The Bretheren recommending her conduct, the Church agreed to recieve her, the Right Hand of Fellowship was given by the Pastor.
