September Thursday 19th Contd.
funnels - 2 chipwagons & some Crew came
today & brot. us
44 Geese & 44 Ducks

Friday 20th Wind South - & Mild - The Schooner
sailed this morning early - Oman employed
putting past sails &c &c - the men who
were across the River returned this evening
& brot 20 ducks 6 geese - they were sent off again
to hunt in the Marsh - Blacksmith repaired
a stove & sundry little Jobs. Garriock attended
to the Kitchen --

Saturday 21st. Wind North west - mild in the
morning & commended to blow in the afternoon
with snow - I. Dunning arrived
from the North point and all the hunters with
him - they brought 4 casks geese -
the men at Fort were employed thus 2 hunting
2 cutting fire wood at the wood pile - Blacksmith
putting up a Stove in the mens House &
repairing others, Oman preparing for a
start on Monday for the fishing Lake

Sunday 22nd. Wind North west, with snow
& Sleet - Read the morning service to the people of
the fort.

Monday 23rd Wind North west & mild. Wm
Oman and 2 Crees left for the Fishing Lake
6 Crees arrived from Churchill Creek and
brought us 42 geese & 57 ducks - the Chipewyans
who arrived with Dressing on. Saturday were
