Clear & Cloudy

I went to meeting: it was
"monthly meeting." Afternoon Richd and
Annie Lea called & spent an hour
or two with us. [Willie ?] came and
brought Edwd home, & went back
before supper. It looks & feels
very much like snow. I walked
up to the P.O. & to Fairalls office
to enquire after the Esq, who is
in Balto at Johns (Hospital)
Hopkins

MON. JAN 7th, 1901.
Ther 30 degrees, Variable Wind
Cloudy

Edwd went with J. P. Stabler
to Rockville after early breakfast.
Sister H, Dora & I walked down
to Ashton & back. Old "Nick" Long
came to breakfast & cut wood
and worked all day. Angelina
Thomas' daughter "Bessie" called
and paid me one dollar. After
supper I walked up to the
toll house & called in at Mrs
Robison's as I returned.
It cleared off after sun set, and
is bright star light this evening.
Edwd did not reach home
until 7-45 oclk this evening.
