WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 28, 1874.

About the houseat Riverside all the early part of the foremoore called at Edwd: Leas abd dinedat E. Peorces ( Go. Chas with me) thence to thos Leas's were I took tea with some friends invited to meet me Saml Stabler & others.

THURSDAY 29 Left "Riverside" about 10 a.m. & Lea's at 11 for Balto: found the roads very bad part of the wayreached town about 4pm. tooe tea at F Yzson's after which made a call at 299 Madison av: Med: & Mrs. Y came home very late from a party did not get to sleep until near morning-

FFRIDAY 30 Feel quite unwell & dull with some pain & tightness in my chest Afternoon drove F Lyson out to Old Athol Cottage" "my boy hood' home", it was the first time I had seen it for 22 years & so much changed I could recognize scarself any thing called at 299 Madison av:

SATURDAY, JANUARY 31, 1874. Called at DE Thomas Mrs. Johnston (64 mt Vernon place) & Mr henry Izions Afternoon drove cousin Abriel Chandlee out to David Hill Park.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 1 Fred & I went to Lombard St meeting called at Balto Club House" Miss Isabel Lyson's Mr H Lyson's & Jewell Smiths's.

MONDAY 2 Snowing violently preventing me from starting home as I intended went to Dr Richd: Sappinton's and to see the "big horse" (weight 2328 lbs)

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 1874. Still snowing Left F Lyon's after an early breakfast and went to miller's stalbes left there for home at 8-30. arrived in Bel Air at 1 p.m. & reached home about 5 tired & worn out but delighted to get "home".

WEDNESDAY 4 Cornthwait went to Jno Hall's for me to see H Lee H Archer came after E Dickerson. S Holloway called also Jimmy Coale. Startedain't dark & went to near Dublin to see Mrs. James Swift reached home about 9 pm

THURSDAY 5 Went again to see Mrs. Swift called at J H Jewett's & Saml Day's Jno Corse & Walter Coale called Sallie & Billie called whils I was about. Sent Sharley to Mrs M W Worthington's for corn & oats (5 Buchels of corn & 7 of oats)

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6 1874 Snow'd all day Comchemist & I went to "Green Spring" & took tea went over in the "phooton" & canel house in my sleigh - miserable drive through the drifts & driving snow- Sat up until very late

SATURDAY 7 Jimmy Coale brought my phaetou Ewms & took thy sleighCalled at keyiah's

SUNDAY 8 Conthwait went to meeting on horse back Jus: Swift called for med; & advice.
