Clear day: father went to Baltimore by way of Elliotscity:
Lucy went to Gennie Moore's in the morning, Lucy
Fawcett came home with her and dined: Joe down at
Jones's blacksmiths shop in the morning: at Ashton
and Ingleside in the afternoon.

19 ^th 3^d day
Cloudy most of the day, bright awhile about noon:
Henrietta called awhile in the morning: Lucy came
from school to stay all night:

20^th 4^th day
Cloudy much of the day: the sun out some in the
morning: begun to rain before night: Henrietta and
M. E. Moore here to dinner: Lucy went home with
Henrietta: father came home from Baltimore, about 3 oclock:
six men here to see him during from 3 to 7 oclock.

Rained all day: Lucy and Corrie Miller here to stay
all night.

Snowed all day: about 8 inches deep: Lucy and Corrie
came again from school.
