Wife Dina or Diana is buried at St. Louis Cemetery. Her maiden name was “Diana Glascock” or “Diana Foreman.” They were married by Rev. William Lewis, a Black Baptist minister, near Bardstown “many years before the war” – Sept 1838. Her residence in Louisville was the Little Sisters of the Poor house. Solomon died there. There is a description of him and testimony by the doctor who served at the home. This couple was married by a Baptist, but were cared for by Catholic sisters and buried in a Catholic cemetery.
