William Argyle, a man of colour intends applying to the Hustings Court, for permission to remain in this State. He was set free by Mrs. Lester, for his fidelity, and merit. We have known him for many years; he is a sober, well behaved and industrious man, & we take pleasure in recommending him [with] notice, and countenance of the Court.
