Editors: the author of this document was inventoried by FDP as James Henrietta, but the DLC transcriber transcribed the surname as Hamilton. That is confirmed by the Hamilton family that owns the Nevis estate at Dobbs Ferry and the spelling looks right. I have changed the surname of the sender to James A. Hamilton, third son of Alexander Hamilton. Perdue 5-27-24
